Speedo “Water Baby”
The concept takes as its base the fundamental question: “Why do humans swim?” Featuring an astounding underwater performance by Olympic medalist synchronised swimmer, Raika Fujii, the piece explores and re-examines the deep connection between people and water.
The music was written by world-renowned composer Jun Miyake, whose original re-arrangement of the Japanese national anthem, ‘Kimigayo’ was performed during the Rio 2016 Olympics closing ceremony. The expressive sounds of the Bulgarian choir in this piece conjure a sense of life and leave a lasting impression.
